SCHOONER CAYS Off Cape Eleuthera in Eleuthera
The Schooner Cays are a group of three cays a few miles off the coast of Cape Eleuthera in Eleuthera. The most notable Schooner Cay is Bottle Cay, which used to be a cruise line stop, until Hurricane Floyd destroyed much of the infrastructure. The pictures that follow were taken there.
You can still see some of the remnants of the cruises ship island stop here. Now it is a private island, but people are welcome to come spend a day there, just bring the Captain, Mary Anne and the professor.
There are some nice beaches there, too, so it is perfect place to spend a day in privacy, on your own deserted island.
