ROYAL ISLAND Site of New Resort by Jack Nicklaus and Roger Staubach
A few years back, Royal Island, off the north coast of Eleuthera, was only known to boaters as having a good harbour to anchor. Now, Jack Nicklaus and Roger Staubach have joined forces, and bought the island. They plan to put high-end homes, villas, condominiums, as well as a golf course, and marina. Royal Island Plans and Marina
Royal Islands looks like a winner. The basic infrastructure is now being laid, and looks like a solid investment. It is so close to the USA, and having a top-flight marina and golf course bodes well. It will be one of the premier vacation spots in the entire Caribbean. The island formerly was owned by a doctor, who used Royal Island as both a fishing retreat, and an exuse to get away from his wife, and drink with his fishing buddies.
