For a city now known for its warming sun and balmy breezes, Nassau has a tumultuous past. First settled by the English, the area was contested by England, France and Spain. For many years, Nassau was a home base for notorious pirates, and it was burned to the ground by the Spanish three different times. Since 1740, however, visitors from all over the world in search of both relaxation and adventure have made Nassau their favorite destination....... .....
ATLANTIS: One of the Best Resorts in the World!!!!
Atlantis is definitely one of the finest resorts in the world. It has a world-class caliber of location, aquarium, water pools, and slides, beach, marina, casino, and more. It is located in Paradise Island, just across the causeway from Nassau. The large casino is huge, as is the entire resort; it is built on another scale than most resorts. The casino is graced by large statues, as well as glass sculptures of the world-famous glass sculptor, Dale Chihuly. It has multiple pools, with multiple schemes. Some with huge slides. The aquarium has an underwater walkway, where you can get up close to sharks. Basically, it has something for everyone, but make sure you check out their awesome Awesome website......
