Great Boating Waters and Marinas

Situated in this, unspoiled 7 mile island of Great Harbour Cay is one of the best Hurricane Holes in the Bahamas.

Great Harbour Cay Marina, located only 123 miles from Fort Lauderdale has 70 slips, fuel, water, laundry, showers, grocery, liquor, restaurants and pool. Car rental or taxi service is available as are bike rentals. Miles and miles of beautiful beaches can be reached by boat, dinghy, bike or taxi.

Entrance to the marina is approached by running a course of 180 degrees for about 3 miles from the western tip of Little Stirrup Cay to a double piled marker. The 5 mile channel is well-marked to the entrance of the cut. Through the cut you will enter the outer harbour where the fuel dock is located. Follow the markers to the inside of the marina. Depths through the channel is about 9 feet at mean low tide. The marina office monitors VHF 16 and VHF 68.
