COAKLEY HOUSE

The historic Coakley House Villa is located in Fresh Creek, also known as Coakley Town, on Andros Island Bahamas, the largest island of the Bahamas and fifth largest of the Caribbean, yet one of the least populated. Fresh Creek is world renowned for its shallow water flats and has been named the Bonefish Capital of the World.
One mile from the house is the Andros Barrier Reef which is the third largest barrier reef system in the world and second largest in the Western hemisphere.The reef streches 140 miles along the east coast of the island and rims the Tongue of the Ocean, with its 6,000 foot drop off. Addtionally Andros abounds in Blue Holes (underwater cave sysytems), which have been the scene of some of the deepest underwater cave explorations in the world today.

Our Home is called PLEASANT DREAMS because it is located on PLEASANT HARBOR in Northern Andros (and it is our DREAM come true!). The house is completely secluded surrounded by coconut palms, island habitat, white sandy beaches and turquoise ocean waters. You can walk the secluded white sandy beaches for hours seldom encountering another sole. The 3rd longest Barrier reef in the world borders the island of Andros, making it a spectacular DIVING, SNORKELING, and FISHING destination. Our miles of sandy beach/ocean front with crystal clear turquoise waters is perfect for children, where the shallow waters, gradually descend deeper. Also great for the adult who likes to swim, float on chairs in the beautiful water and relax in the sun. For the adventurous adult, deeper waters and snorkeling are just a short swim out. There are several small reefs (easy to snorkel on) right off of our beach where you can spear lobster, collect conch, and fish or snorkel for many kinds of reef fish. HERE for more info......

ANDROS BEACH HOUSE

In Kemps Bay, Step off your porch onto powdery white sand leading to a secluded 4 mile stretch of beach. Swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing, kayaking, sailing, volleyball, hiking, biking, and more. Spectacular views from the bedrooms and full length screened in porch. This is the perfect getaway for a couple, family, or group of friends.

ANDROS HOUSEBOAT

The houseboat is situated one mile inland in Fresh Creek and is solidly placed on pillars. In this tidal creek the ocean flows under and all around the house, giving our guests the unique experience of being on the water while in a stable structure. Here you can relax in privacy, appreciating peace and nature as it is intended to be enjoyed. The houseboat has decks on three sides with stairs leading into the water for swimming or snorkeling. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge, each with panoramic views of an aqua ocean, with upper and lower decks for outdoors activities. We are the last house before the wilderness of Fresh Creek stretches for 20 miles across the uninhabited interior of Andros, here the air is clean and the views are untouched by human activity. You can stand on the decks and watch marine animals in a natural aquarium, birds shelter and nest in the mangroves and the sun set over the water, a perfect location for the traveller who seeks space. JEFF'S BEACH HOUSE

Jeff's Beach House is the place...The Beach House is an informal affordable family style accommodation. It is completely furnished and sits on a very remote beach 50 feet from the Caribbean Sea. You will have the beach to yourself for sunning, volleyball, shelling and more. The house offers 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms plus 2 sofa beds which can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably. A cook can be made available or we can stock the house for you. Family and friends can gather on the beachside balcony that stretches along the length of the house for happy hour or meet in the large kitchen/community room for Bahamian meals.
